I am LOVING...................AVON cosmetics

I don't know about you, but I already bought most of my Christmas presents. And I like to buy most of my presents online (I just think you have a greater choice online). Anyway I stumbled across Avon's site and I ordered quite a few things there not only as a Christmas present, but also for myself (when seeing the prices I just couldn't resist). They have some fantastic products online and they are at a very good price too, so make  sure you check out their website as well. Also they have some great Christmas promotions online, and some products start from as little as £0.99! Here are few things that I bought from Avon:

Wedding and birthday celebrations

I have been very busy in the past 2 weeks (attended my cousin's wedding, had my birthday, got a new job...).
The wedding was amazing (I got a bit emotional as well), it was good to see my whole family, even if for a short time. The bride looked incredible (she had one of the most beautiful dresses I have seen), the guests were funny, the food was delicious and the live music was also good.
My dress was from Betsy and Adams ( I bought it in TK Maxx, price £55) and I bought my clutch bag in Matalan (£4) Here are few pics from the event:

I got few nice presents for my birthday, my favorites are Browzings eyebrow kit from Benefit (review coming soon) which I got from my sis, a beautiful Wrap Drape High Low Hem dress from Warehouse (price £50) from my boyfriend (okay, he did not choose it, I did, but he paid for it :). I fall in love with this dress immediately   The dress can be worn as a casual dress, but it looks smart enough to be worn on special occasions as well. I also love the color and the look and feel of the dress, it looks really smart and glamorous at the same time.

My day at Westfield shopping center in Stratford

Let me start with this, Westfield has become my favorite shopping center as soon as they put the first brick down (I just knew it's gonna be great, lol :). Everyone who has been there will tell you, that the shopping center just looks amazing with stunning decorations, great atmosphere and just so many things to do and see there, it must be the best shopping center I have ever been so far. You can find many high street stores there such as River Island, H&M, Crocs, Sketchers, Topshop, Bershka, Primark, John Lewis, Zara, Fat Face etc, some more exclusive shops such as Victoria's Secret (one of my favourite) or Hugo Boss,  and also some individual stores . There is also a huge Vue cinema on the top floor and a Casino and if you get hungry you can find several places where you can eat; for example restaurants like : TGI Friday's, Nando's, Yo Sushi!, Gourmet Burger Kitchen etc. If you prefer fast food you can eat at the fast food court (here you can find McDonald's, KFC, Subway etc.) This shopping center really gives East London the oomph it was missing before.

This time I went there with my boyfriend (even he likes to go there) and the main reason was to buy a wedding gift for my cousin who is getting married this weekend. ( I plan to blog about the wedding as well, a real Slovak wedding, so watch this space) I ended up buying 2 champagne flutes with Swarovski elements from John Lewis. Here they are:

After buying the gifts me and my boyfriend went for a meal to Gourmet Kitchen Burger ( I love their slim chips and yummy burgers)  and then we went for a few drinks in Las Iguanas which is a trendy bar on the top floor. (They have some very nice cocktails and punches).

We finished off the day by going to the cinema to watch the new James Bond movie, Skyfall.(The movie was excellent, a definite must-see even if you are not a James Bond fan).

To be honest, I can't wait for Christmas, it is another excuse to visit Westfield for shopping and also to see it at its full Christmas charm.

I was thinking and searching the internet for ages and then rewriting this post about a zillion times, until I decided maybe the most appropriate thing to write in my first post is just to write something about myself, so here we go...

I have been living in London for the past 7 years, and I absolutely love this city. I like everything about it, the buzz, the people from all over the world, the vintage shops in Camden and the red double-deckers...

I love shopping (one of the things my boyfriend moans about the most), I love all girly topics including everything about beauty and fashion (this is despite the fact that I used to be a tomboy as a child) and I plan to write about these topics in my future posts. I am not a stylist, a fashionista or anything fancy like that, my posts are going to be about my own style, opinions, reviews and life experience.
